State Street Garage Demolition in Binghamton

As many of you already know, the old State Street parking garage had seen better days. We recently went to work on demolition of the parking garage. This project will take a few months to complete but we are well underway.

This is a very complex project that includes the removal of a 7-level structure with multiple underground levels extending nearly 30 feet below street level!

A major milestone in the field. With the mass excavation complete and the building pad prepared to grade, the first precast concrete wall panels are now being erected.

While this marks the start of the vertical structure, there’s still significant work ahead as our crews continue installing the project’s underground storm, sanitary, water, and utility infrastructure to keep the site moving forward.

Every phase builds on the last and reaching this point is a testament to the planning, coordination, and hard work of everyone involved.
