To every single mother and father out there getting it out the mud...
I see you.
I see the parent working long hours, missing sleep, stretching dollars, making miracles happen with whatever is left.
I see the parent making doctor's appointments, attending school meetings, buying shoes, paying bills, fixing problems, wiping tears, and still showing up with a smile.
I see the parent carrying responsibilities that were supposed to be shared.
Some people only show up when it's convenient. Some only call on holidays. Some only contribute when they feel like it. Some act like providing for their child is a favor instead of a responsibility.
But let me tell you something...
The child remembers who was there.
They remember who stayed up when they were sick.
They remember who sacrificed.
They remember who never stopped fighting for them.
They remember who made a way when there seemed to be no way.
To every parent carrying the weight of two people, don't let anyone make you feel less than because you're doing it alone.
You are the chauffeur.
You are the provider.
You are the protector.
You are the comforter.
You are the safe place.
And while it may feel unfair at times, your hard work is building a legacy your children will never forget.
Keep going.
The late nights matter.
The sacrifices matter.
The prayers matter.
The struggle matters.
One day your children will understand just how much you carried so they could have a better life.
To every single parent out there: You are stronger than you know, and your children are blessed because of you.
Keep getting it out the mud. God sees every sacrifice, every tear, every bill paid, every meal cooked, and every battle fought in silence.
Your reward is coming.
