Poor sales as a result of poor marketing...low visibility and advertising.

Bad Customer Service: untrained staff/unstructured systems

Location does not match the target market...inaccessible...bad parking etc

When your costing is wrong your profit is affected!

Operating capital: spending too much on renovations and aesthetics and neglecting your marketing budget.

Consistency is key to running a successful restaurant!!

Over Familiarity ruins businesses! Friends and family PAY!!!!

❤️RESPOND TO A BAD REVIEW LIKE A PRO

✔️Respond right away!
A bad review can spread like a wildfire if you're not quick to make amends. It's best practice to respond right away so other guests aren't put off by your lack of response in the meantime. Respond in a timely manner. Understand your customer’s experience with your business before responding. Stay professional and courteous. When responding to your review think about what you can do to avoid making the same mistake. Better yet let the guest know what you'll he doing differently in the future.

✔️ Don't ever ignore a bad review
Apologize when appropriate but don’t take responsibility for things that weren’t your fault. Show compassion and empathy for the guest. Offer to talk it over. Show that you’re authentic and genuine.

✔️Don't take bad reviews personally It's hard not to be frustrated by a bad review. But
it is important not to let your emotions get the
best of you.Take a minute to collect your thoughts because it's possible that the
complaint is legit.

✔️Don't Forget To Say Thank You
Reviews are an opportunity to learn and improve so why not say thank you?

✔️Do invite the guest back to your business to give you a 2nd chance. It's also a good idea to offer a freebie or commercial gesture such as a discount on their next visit to help make things right.
