As we enter the second quarter of 2022, we continue to be faced with many challenges: worker shortages, inflation, and a limited supply of materials. These obstacles have tested our collective patience. At BETTER ENVELOPES, we take great pride in being a partner that can deliver in your time of need. That has not happened as of late. It gives us no joy to be late on orders, non-committal on pricing, delivery dates, freight costs and ultimately disappoint you, our loyal customer. That is not part of our pledge of BETTER QUALITY, BETTER SERVICE, BETTER ENVELOPES. Know that we are not sitting back and simply waiting for things to change. We are aggressively looking for new employees to increase our work force and working with our suppliers to meet raw material demand. We are working overtime at all our facilities and doing our best to manage the orders you have entrusted with us. The new policies we have implemented are starting to give us traction to get your orders delivered. However, we don’t see the marketplace situation resolving completely this year. With all this in mind, we strongly encourage you to look at your envelope inventories with an understanding that turnaround times are lengthy, and costs seem to continue to escalate. An order now could save you money in the long run.
