This is Cliff’s daughter, Mary.
Some of you may already know, but he is in his last days of his Parkinson’s fight. His hospice nurse said it should be some time this weekend.
Due to his physical decline and dementia, he hasn’t been able to interact on here in a while. So I want to give the goodbye that I know he would give.
I know he would want to tell you all how much he loves and appreciates all of you. He loves his friends and family more than anything in this world, and I know if he could do this himself, his last goodbye would be to share his love of Christ with all of you. His hope has always been that everyone would see what Christ has done in his life over these last few decades, especially since many of you knew him during his “BC” days, as he liked to call them. My dad is not perfect and, like each of us, not worthy of God’s grace. But through Christ’s blood he has been made righteous and that means his ultimate healing is coming. I know that he has personally prayed for many of you over the years that you would come to the same saving faith that he has.
We grieve for the earthly loss we’re experiencing, but we know where he is going and that we will see him again. And we know that this isn’t how things are supposed to be. One day everything will be made new and these tears will be gone.
If anyone wants to talk and reminisce or wants to know more about the grace and mercy my dad loves so much, message me.
In the meantime, know that my dad loves each and every one of you and the part you played in his life and he thanks God for placing you there, and he looks forward to seeing you again.
“When death takes me down and I breathe here no more, His anthem will sound on that eternal shore. And I'll join with the angels in heaven on high, singing, ‘Praise the Lord, He is the light!’”
