VSI's new proprietary mechanical flapper check valve indicator assembly. This indicator can be oriented to face either side, allowing a visual indication of the valve position. An electronic indicator can also be added to the assembly to signal SCADA and instrumentation equipment when the valve has opened or closed. This feature ensures if an issue arose causing the valve to remain forced open an operator could easily identify there was an issue and remedy the problem before major damage could occur.
