SAVE THE DATE! Sept 15, 2023 will mark the 250th anniversary of the landing of the Ship Hector in Pictou, Nova Scotia. A “Descendants & Friends” banquet will be held on that evening at the beautiful Pictou Lodge Beach Resort with great food & entertainment to celebrate the occasion. Tickets & more details will be available at a later date.

New Year's Day trivia!

New Year’s Day 2020 marks 128 years since Annie Moore, a 17-year-old Irish girl, became the first immigrant to pass through Ellis Island. But a new and important chapter was added to her story in April 2016, when her living descendants in the US met with her surviving relatives from Ireland.
