Our Marketing and Media Specialist, Jessica Fadlevich, attended the "Class in Session: Online Design Automation & Social Media Marketing Training Session (Hosted by UAB Academic Small Business Alliance (ASBA) Program)" with speakers Courtney Woods and King Ashley Ann. The session focused on success in digital marketing and advertising for small business and local DBE's.

Intern Spotlight! Meet Yaya Sangare:

"I am glad for being part of a such warm team and thankful for the help and warm welcome. I am an international awarded student of a scholarship from my government, Ivory Coast. I am majoring in mechanical engineering and graduating in spring 2019. I am planning to go to graduate school to specialize in energy sustainability. As for my future goals, I want to have my own business in mass production.

I am an easy-going, hard worker, and very curious person about everything around me because I want to understand the reason and purpose of my environment. I love playing soccer, working out, dancing, music (reggae music is favorite). I enjoy hanging out with my friends when I have extra time and adventurous activities."

"My name is Forrest Johnson. I am a junior at UAB studying civil engineering. My interests in sustainability and preparing our cities for the future have led me to pursue an education that will enable me to work in urban design and transportation engineering. Outside of work and school, I love to travel, hike, run, go to concerts, and explore Birmingham."

The Alabama Water Resources Conference is the premiere water conference in the state. It was established in 1986, and has provided a forum for showcasing emerging research, education and outreach in all aspects of water resources. Strada Professional Services very own Andrew Leeds was asked to speak on Stakeholder Engagement. Way to go, Andrew!
