A little rain couldn't stop the celebration! Sophia and Jen had a wonderful time supporting Christiana at the Les Dames d'Escoffier Birmingham chapter's Ch*****ne & Fried Chicken Picnic, their biggest fundraiser of the year.

The Birmingham chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier International is made up of leaders and experts in the food and beverage industry, all dedicated to growing, creating, and sharing Birmingham's local food culture.

A few of our team members had a grand time celebrating the 20th anniversary of Antiques at the Gardens, Birmingham's premier antiques show hosted by Birmingham Botanical Gardens. We were glad to have our friends from UAB join for the evening!

It's always a joy to support an event that celebrates craftsmanship, beauty, and community, all while benefiting a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and sharing one of Birmingham's most treasured spaces. Moments like these are a reminder of why we love being woven into this city, not just helping people find their way to Birmingham, but celebrating everything that makes it special once they're here.

Caroline and Jen enjoyed an evening at the 29th Annual Symphony in the Gardens at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and the weather could not have been more perfect. It was a beautiful day!

Jen recently joined the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Board, a volunteer organization that supports the Orchestra's music education programs and community outreach, and helps plan this annual free concert.

Our team loves showing up for the community events that bring Birmingham together!

Jen and Sophia had a wonderful time at Storytime Possibilities, an evening for adults who believe in the power of stories and the limitless potential of children.

The night featured real stories, told live, with past storytellers including a Pulitzer-winning columnist, a New York Times bestselling author, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, and Alabama's own poet laureate.

There was also a curated "book fair for grown-ups" by Thank You Books, with every purchase supporting Small Magic's early learning programs.

It was a beautiful evening celebrating stories, community, and the belief that investing in our youngest learners changes everything.

Our team recently put together a private showing of Mary Fehr's photography exhibit, hosted by the artist herself, for one of our recruits' spouses.

It was an incredible experience, and it's exactly why we do what we do. We love creating unique, meaningful moments for the people and families we bring to Birmingham and Huntsville. It's about helping people feel truly welcomed and cared for.

Christiana had the privilege of attending this year's Southbound Heritage Dinner, and it's just one more example of art, culinary craft, and community coming together in Birmingham.

Our team is always on the move, showing up to the events, dinners, and experiences that make this city so special. Whether it's a dinner like this one, an arts festival, or a Saturday morning at the farmers market, we love being out in the community and soaking up everything Birmingham has to offer.

There's so much to see, do, and explore here, and we're grateful to be part of it.

A couple weeks ago, downtown Birmingham came alive with Artwalk, and Walton had a wonderful time soaking it all in. From incredible craftsmanship to live music, street performers, and a buzzing crowd, it was two days of creativity and community.

It's just one more reminder of everything this city has to offer. Birmingham never runs out of ways to surprise you.

When Tom Chi relocated to Birmingham through Chalker Group, his family had never set foot in Alabama. Two years later, his wife Judith now writes a beautiful reflection on what life here has actually become: a city that moves at a gentler pace, where neighbors show up with homemade cakes just to welcome you, where kids get swept up into new passions by the community around them, and where genuine stewardship runs through everything, from business leaders to neighbors down the street.

This is the part of recruiting that doesn't always make the highlight reel. It's not just about the offer letter, it's the ripple effect.

Last Saturday, we celebrated Chalker Circle, bringing together the families Chalker has helped welcome to Birmingham over the years.

It was such a joy to reconnect with familiar faces and hear how life has unfolded since those first conversations, back when we were just introducing them to the city, its neighborhoods, and its people. What started as helping someone imagine Birmingham as home has turned into watching families build real lives here.

Chalker may have been how we first met. Chalker Circle is how we hope to stay connected. Thank you to everyone who came out, we loved celebrating with you and can't wait for the next one.
