Vino 101 Consulting Wine Consultation My name is Brent Skjerseth. I am a Certified Specialist of Wine and live in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Since 1999, I have worked in the alcohol beverage industry on both the retail and sales sides of the industry. For the last four years, I have been a sales representative for a wine distributor called Wine Merchants of Johnson Brothers. I covered wine sales encompassing all of Southeastern Minnesota and sold to both retail and restaurant accounts. During my time at Wine Merchants, I took every opp

ortunity to further my wine education. This included taking beginner, intermediate and advanced wine classes, on-premise sales training seminars and passing my Certified Specialist of Wine exam administered through the Society of Wine Educators. This coming spring my education will take another turn, when I sit for the Certified Wine Educator and Certified Spirits Specialist exams administered by the Society of Wine Educators.

I can't wait until tonight to review the new Banshee Napa Valley Cabernet. If you haven't tried Banshee wines you should check them out, as they make outstanding wines. They even have a wine club which makes it super easy to get these gems.

Just dined at Mama's Fish House on Maui last night. Awesome food and a pretty remarkable wine list. Tried a Talbot "Sleepy Hollow" Pinot Noir and it was delicious.
