Momma and baby chick had to be separated from the flock for baby’s safety.
They both are doing great!

Baby is 3 weeks old and we think by looking at baby’s feathers that it is a rooster.

We can’t wait til they get to join the flock again!

This morning we had our first chick hatch all on their own. Our first baby chicken from a random egg in the coop.
We waited a month to see if it would hatch and it finally did!
