What a fun night that was Music at Lake Park Summer Concert Series | NUstalgic presented by Black Creek Cheese!

Thanks to everyone who came out to make musical memories despite the cool weather and threat of rain. Luckily the bad weather split north and south of BC and we were able to keep the band on the stage and the crowd in the open under the beautiful evening sky.

We’ve got a long list of people we need to thank for their help with this first of three concerts:

🤝 IT TAKES A VILLAGE 🤝

As we get closer to show time, we want to pause our setup activities for a minute to send out an important ‼️THANK YOU‼️ to more of our sponsors. Over the last 6 weeks, we've profiled tonight's headline presenter Black Creek Cheese and the 12 encore-level sponsors that are helping us make tonight's Music at Lake Park Summer Concert Series | NUstalgic presented by Black Creek Cheese a reality. In this post, we want to send a shoutout to the rhythm keeper- and stage crew-level sponsors.

Big or small, every local business and community group that stepped forward to partner with us on this 3-concert series is an important part of this project. We asked for lots of help and you stepped up. We see your generosity and appreciate both the faith you put in us to organize these Black Creek Events and your desire to bring fun, community and good vibes to summer nights in BC. We have lots of options to find fun and entertainment in the Valley and Green Bay, but there's something special about hosting these events right here in our own village. The skies are gray, we’ve had a few raindrops and there’s some rumbling going on, but tonight’s 2026 Music at Lake Park Summer Concert Series | NUstalgic presented by Black Creek Cheese will go on! The forecast shows the weather clearing up on time for all of you to join us at Black Creek Lake Park for dinner, drinks, singing and dancing.

We kick off our 2026 Music at Lake Park Summer Concert Series tonight with NUstalgic presented by Black Creek Cheese.

Join us at Lake Park in Black Creek for FREE live music, community fun and lots of memory making. We’ll start at 5pm with kids’ activities and food and beverage concessions. The band will take the stage from 6-8:30pm to rock Lake Park with the sounds of summer.

Bring your blankets and chairs, bring your friends and family, and head down to Lake Park and enjoy a great night of music with the community!

We’re ready to rock Tuesday night at the
Music at Lake Park Summer Concert Series | NUstalgic presented by Black Creek Cheese but it seems Mother Nature might have plans to do a little rockin’ and rollin’ of her own. What to do?

Rain or shine, we'll be enjoying an evening of great music, tasty eats and community! If it’s a rainy night in BC, we’ll move the performance under the park pavilions so the show can go on. 🎸 We will only cancel in the event of severe weather that could impact the safety of our guests, performers and volunteers. Watch here on Facebook for an announcement.

For now, we’re planning for a beautiful night of live music with NUstalgic so gather your lawn chairs, friends and family and head to Lake Park for a high-energy performance – we hope to see you Tuesday! 🎵🌦️
