🚨We are pretty horrible with social media, but this is important: Think LONG and hard before you sign a 50+page, 25-year contract for a $0 solar energy system that you won't own. You'll pay at least 2.5 times the cost of a system over that time. You'll be paying the owner of the panels AND will still get a bill from the power company for fixed costs and overages.
* Use more energy than the system makes? You'll be billed for the difference.
* Use less? You won't get charged less.
* The panel owners - not you - get the SRECS (small payments for generating renewable energy.)
* Looking to sell your house? You'd better hope the new owners are excited about the contract or you'll have to buy the system at that point.
Better: start with a small system that YOU own, and add on over time. Our contract is 2 pages. Grid-tied systems are very simple and low/no maintenance! Outside of direct impact, panels rarely break, you can get 20+ year warranties on inverters. It's not complicated; you don't need someone else to manage it.
These companies make their money from financing; solar is just the vehicle for it.
