Friday Fun Fact: Minnesota has an official state muffin, and it’s blueberry! It earned the title back in 1988.

Now we’re thinking a blueberry muffin and a hot cup of coffee sound like a pretty good way to start the weekend. What’s your favorite treat to have with coffee?

Friday Fun Fact: Before coffee smells like coffee, it smells a lot like jasmine.

Coffee plants produce small white flowers with a sweet, floral scent. Those flowers eventually give way to the coffee cherries that hold the beans we brew.

Here’s a Community Cup fact we love: By the mid-1600s, London had more than 300 coffeehouses. Different ones became gathering places for artists, merchants, and other people who shared an interest.

Centuries later, the best part of sharing coffee is still the people. It’s the friend who stays a little longer, the neighbor who checks in, or the conversation you didn’t know you needed.

That’s what Community Cup Thursday means to us. ☕
