Machine Operator /Fabricator

Start Date: As soon as possible
Employment Type: Full time first shift
Experience:
Must have at least 2 years in an industrial environment
Should have experience with hand tools, use with laser/plasma/cnc, sheet metal or other metal fabrication.
Job Description:
- Set up jobs on waterjet equipment
- Preform first article and in-process inspections
- Work with 3 axis and 5 axis waterjet machines
- Learn and work with CAD systems
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges and read mechanical drawings
- Help maintain shop equipment and working areas
- Perform general shipping and receiving duties.
- Able to safely lift, load, and unload large material from manufacturing equipment.
- Use grinders, sanders, hand plasma cutter and other hand tools
- Perform other jobs and tasks as assigned
- Continuous training in cad and machine operations
Skills and Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis
- Must have exceptional math skills
- Desire for continuous improvement
- Organized and can maintain focus with multiple tasks
- Follows directions written and verbal
- Has experience using various shop equipment such as saws, sanders and drill press
