I had a great visit with my friend Terry Bronkema in Everson today. 🌾

Farming isn’t just an industry it’s a food security and national security issue. We should never take for granted our ability to feed ourselves, and that starts with protecting the farmers and farmland in our own communities.

We need to keep food growing locally, support our family farmers, and make sure future generations can still work the land that feeds us. Food security is national security and it starts right here at home. 🌱

Find the recent press release my campaign sent out in the comments. Campaigning takes a lot of hard work and courage. I commend Eamonn Collins and Ryan Bowman for stepping up to serve. If I’m elected, I will work hard to represent them and their supporters.

This race is about improving our local community and representing ALL of the voices in the 42nd District. ❤️

I’m deeply disappointed the Trade Talks collapsed between the U.S. and Canada, and believe no new tariffs should be imposed on Canada. Our countries have a longtime beneficial trade relationship, especially in Blaine and Whatcom County. Businesses here rely on our neighbors to the North. We must resume the Trade Talks.

We must also address state level policies hurting businesses here. Record tax increases were imposed in 2025 & 2026, there’s more red tape than ever, and policies here have gas prices over $1.00 higher than other neighboring border states. Businesses are already fleeing WA due to state level policy.

We can and must have sensible dialogue, and business policies that yield a robust economy, family wage jobs, and an improved quality of life. I will work hard locally to achieve this in our local Legislature.

Our veterans sacrificed so much for us. Now it’s our turn to stand beside them. They deserve more access to healing, mental health care, and the support they need to heal and thrive. I had a great time visiting growing veterans today. I have worked for many years, providing counseling services to veterans and love this program and how it offers a safe place in the community 🇺🇸
