It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own. ❤️‍🩹🚒

For more than 65 years, Lloyd proudly served the Blair Volunteer Fire Department and our community—a remarkable legacy of service and dedication that will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here. 🖤🚒

🚒🥎 MEET YOUR BLAIR FIRE TEAM! 🥎🚒

We’re officially one month away, and the Blair Volunteer Fire & Rescue softball roster is set!

On Saturday, September 26, our volunteers will trade their turnout gear for ball gloves and take the field against our friends—and friendly rivals—at the Blair Police Department 🚓🔥

🚨 BVFD vs. BPD — 6:15 PM

Before our game, the Washington County Fire Team will face the Douglas County Fire Team at 5:00 PM.

Tonight at the City of Blair, Nebraska City Council Meeting, we were proud to officially add SIX new members to the ranks of the Blair Volunteer Fire Department!

Monday was another busy day for BVFD, with our volunteers responding to 4 calls for service, all of which were medical/rescue-related.

➡️ A big thank you to Herman Fire Department for assisting us on scene and LifeNet 1-3 Columbus for assisting with patient transport. We appreciate the teamwork! 🚁🤝

Two of Monday's four calls took our volunteers outside of our primary response area to assist neighboring departments. 🤝 That's what mutual aid is all about, when one community needs additional help, we're there for each other.
