GenoSource Your leading genetic source, created by dairymen for dairymen! GenoSource consist of a 2,800 cow dairy sitting on 129 acres just outside of Blairstown, Iowa.

GenoSource was formed in 2014 by a diverse group of individuals with a history in the dairy industry. Our goal is to produce elite genetics for the industry whether its through heifers, cows, embryos or bulls. Cows are currently milked three times a day on a rotary parlor. We also have a full time embryo vet on staff and have an EU certified flush facility for on farm IVF and flushing. GenoSource owns and plans to own some of the greatest genetic bloodlines in the world. GenoSource wants to Source the world with some of the best cows and genetics that anyone has to offer! Tim Rauen

Premier Breeder of the International Holstein Show! 🏆

World Dairy Expo 2026 was a week filled with huge milestones for our family, highlighted by the incredible honor of being named Premier Breeder of both the Heifer and Cow Shows.

This recognition is something we are incredibly proud of and truly humbled by. It represents years of dedication, a strong dedication to our breeding philosophy and values and, most importantly, the people who have believed in our genetic program alongside us.

To everyone who has invested in GenoSource genetics, purchased an individual, developed one of our animals, or simply believed in what we are working to build; THANK YOU. Your confidence in our program means more than we can put into words, and we are incredibly grateful to have so many great people sharing in its success.
