The Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library is hiring 2 pages, beginning in May/June 2026. Page positions are reserved for high school aged teens (15-18yo). They can be enrolled in public/private high school, or homeschooled. Go to our website for more information including the full job description, and complete the online application. Paper applications can also be picked up at the Bloomfield Public Library.

Free summer meals will be available for kids in our community! Stop by Bloomfield Town Park on Mondays and Thursdays from May 28th through August 6th to grab a hot lunch or a meal box! What an awesome way to make sure no child goes hungry this summer!

Tomorrow is the big day! The BDR's Hometown Christmas will be from 12:00pm to 5:00pm there will be businesses open across town and vendors located in the locations listed below.

Santa will be arriving on the square at 2:00pm!

I know the weather has been concerning, but as of 4:00pm Saturday we think it's staying north and we are opening as planned tomorrow. Please come stroll through town and check out the local businesses opening for the event, and our vendors for the festival.

Thank you to Rejavanated, Debi Goodman and the folks at Rebuilt for allowing us to use their spaces for tomorrow!
