This impressive bison rug came back from the tannery today! Pictures really don’t capture just how massive it is—the size, rich coloring, and character of this hide are incredible.

Sometimes a trophy deserves a second chance. This buck came to us after the original mount just wasn’t what the customer had envisioned. Check out the transformation!

“Summer slowdown” is officially here, but the shop is still staying busy. We just got this beautiful whitetail roughed in and ready for the next stages.

Even though things have slowed down compared to peak season, we’ve still had a steady trickle of mounts coming through the door — and honestly, now is one of the best times to get your deer in if you still have one in the freezer. Turnaround times are easier to manage before the fall rush hits again.

While intake is lighter, we’ve been putting a lot of time into improving the shop, refining our process, organizing work areas, and continuing to invest back into Huntsman Taxidermy so we can keep delivering quality work for our customers.
