This was all because of a bad repair a few years back. I known septic company in the area only replaced the tank and two feet of this main inlet pipe. It would've taken just 5 minutes to replace the whole pipe.

Not to mention they charge 10K more than I charge to replace a tank.

What a shame, This nice lady was taking advantage of. She had an old metal tank replaced with a 500 gallon tank, never connected it to the fields, and without a permit.

I replaced it with a permit, and with a the min required by NY code and 1,000 gallon. As you can see in the pictures it was very tight for space, but I made it happen. Moral of this story, always always get a permit and ask to see it. And don't for forget final inspection.
