We understand our customers are experiencing significant quality issues with electrodes from our recent lot # 5452. We take the quality of our products very seriously and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this issue. We originally thought this was an isolated incident but have heard from many of you that the problem is more widespread than we thought. As a result, we have suspended sales of all electrodes from lot # 5452. In the mean time, any electrodes purchased from FMS will be from lots other than 5452. Check our website to see which types are currently available.
Rest assured that we stand behind our products and will work with each of you to replace any product that is defective. Please message us on Facebook, send us an email ([email protected]), or give us a call (952-934-6789) if you have experienced this issue with the electrodes from lot # 5452.
In the mean time, we are in frequent contact with our supplier and are working diligently to determine the cause of the problem and correct it. Our investigation so far seems to point to thin-walled tubulation glass that our supplier used temporarily due to supply chain issues.
We have been working with this supplier for nearly 20 years and this is the first significant quality issue we have experienced during that time. We are confident this issue will be resolved and we look forward to providing the quality products we have over the last two decades.
