Same opening. Completely different windows.

We replaced the existing window unit with three beautiful new double casement windows and we LOVE how these turned out!

Not only did they clean up and modernize the look of this home, but look at how those casements open! Fresh air, easy operation, and a whole lot of beautiful natural light without changing the character of the home.

And from the inside? 🤌 The homeowners still get to enjoy their gorgeous plantation shutters with brand-new windows behind them.

Sometimes an exterior project doesn't need to completely change how your home looks.

Sometimes it's about making what you already love work better.

BEFORE ➡️ AFTER… & this one is personal. ❤️

This project started months ago with a phone call from a homeowner who had water coming into their home.

They had already contacted their insurance company, and the claim was initially focused on repairing the interior damage.

My first words to them were essentially:

Please don't fix the inside yet. We haven't figured out why the water got there in the first place.

Because repairing drywall and paint doesn't mean much if water can still get into the house.

And that began MONTHS of inspections, documentation, conversations, code research, back-and-forth with insurance, starting & stopping work because of lag time and needing to show actual proof and justify what and we were demanding the work to be approved, requesting new adjusters....and refusing to accept an answer that didn't actually solve the problem.

There were days this one frustrated me beyond words, not for me...for the homeowners. There were nights I genuinely lost sleep over it.

But I knew what we were seeing. I knew what needed to be done. And I wasn't willing to give up on this homeowner just because getting there wasn't easy.

What started as an interior-only insurance claim eventually became what you see in that second picture:

A properly repaired exterior. A beautiful new home. And most importantly... a home protected from the water intrusion that started this entire journey. 🏡❤️

THAT'S the before & after I'm proud of.

Yes, the new exterior looks incredible.

But knowing this homeowner can hear the rain hit their house without wondering where the water is going to show up inside?

That's the win.

Sometimes our job isn't just replacing siding, roofing or gutters.

Sometimes it's knowing what you're looking at, knowing the codes, documenting it properly, asking the hard questions and caring enough to keep going when the easy answer would be to walk away.

This one was worth every single frustration. ❤️

One project at a time… and this Peoria home is coming together!

We’ve been spending quite a bit of time at this home in Peoria, IL and we’re not done yet!

✔️ New roof — DONE
✔️ All new windows — DONE
⏭️ New siding — IN PROGRESS

These before & after photos show just one of the windows we replaced throughout the home. Nothing crazy or flashy; just a clean, fresh upgrade that’s part of a much bigger transformation.

And now that the roof and windows are checked off the list, we cannot WAIT to see what the new siding does to this house. 😍

Stay tuned… this one is going to be fun to watch come together!

🏡 BEFORE ➡️ AFTER

A BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH A BIG PROBLEM!

This homeowner reached out because she was fed up with water getting into her basement. After taking a closer look, we found the roof and gutter system were contributing to the problem.

And can we talk about those original shake shingles for a second?! 😍 Absolutely beautiful and so fitting for this home...but unfortunately, they had reached the point where they were no longer doing the job they were meant to do.

We removed the old shake roof and replaced it with IKO Dynasty shingles, along with new gutters and downspouts to help properly move water away from the home.

The goal wasn't to change the character of this gorgeous house. It was to protect it & give a homeowner peace of mind every time it rains❤️

TESTIMONIAL TUESDAY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This review hit on something that is really important to us.

Carol’s home had quite a bit of hidden damage from the old gutter system, damaged wood that needed to be replaced before we could properly put everything back together.

But here’s the part we’re especially proud of:

“The whole job looks great at no extra costs!” 🙌

We know NO ONE enjoys finding out halfway through a project that their home needs another $500… $1,000… or more worth of work they weren’t expecting.

That’s exactly why we spend so much time before the build documenting what we see, looking for potential problem areas, planning the scope, and talking through the “what ifs.”

Can surprises still happen once we open up a home? Absolutely. We can’t see through walls. 😂 But doing our homework beforehand gives us the best opportunity to catch problems early and avoid unnecessary surprises later.

THIS is why before & after photos don’t always tell the whole story. 👀

At first glance, you might think… what changed?! The homeowner loved the existing color and wanted to keep the same overall look.

But the PRODUCT? Completely different.

We took this home from cedar siding to vinyl board & batten, keeping that vertical style while giving the exterior a much lower-maintenance finish.

And one of my favorite parts is what you don’t immediately notice: every piece of trim was custom wrapped in aluminum. Corners, beams, fascia, transitions. All of those little details that make the finished project look clean and intentional.

Same color. Same character. A whole different exterior system. 🙌

Sometimes the best transformations aren’t about making a house look completely different. They’re about keeping what the homeowner already loves and making it work better for them. ❤️
