When the company Ann Elsner was working with got bought out by a large medical device vendor and her ideas to improve retinal imaging were essentially put on a shelf with no intention of being used, she made a decision.

It was great to have Senator Joe Donnelly at Aeon Imaging today! Helping facilitate earlier diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy is a major goal of our retinal camera. We appreciate Senator Donnelly helping build one of our prototypes today.

Sen. Joe Donnelly visited Aeon Imaging in Bloomington on Oct. 1, 2014 as part of "Donnelly Day," which is a chance for the senator to learn about small businesses in Indiana.
