Mahjong is one of those games that looks complicated until someone shows you how it works. That’s exactly what we do in this class. You’ll learn the tiles, the flow of the game, and then start playing real hands right away.

Mahjong, wine, and a little friendly competition? Yes please. I am so excited to share this new event with you!

Join us at Oliver Winery on May 15 for Tiles & Tastings, hosted by Mahj in Bloom. This is a lively night of American Mahjong designed for players who are ready to play, connect, and have a little fun along the way.

The evening starts with a quick strategy session around the 2026 NMJL card, followed by two rounds of open play with a break to refresh your drink and meet new people.

Your ticket includes:
• One complimentary glass of Oliver wine (non-alcoholic options available)
• Guided strategy kickoff
• Open play with table rotations
• Fun prizes and a raffle

Event starts at 6 p.m. and I encourage you to arrive 15-30 minutes early to get checked-in and settled. If you haven't been to the winery, the grounds are beautiful and everything should be blooming!

Registration is now open and we are limited to 40 spots, so grab your seat and join us for a night of tiles, sips, and just the right amount of competition.

Apparently this is NOT a drill! The first 2026 cards have already started to arrive in mailboxes… I will now be obsessively checking the mail.

Tonight, MJIT posted this line tracker and several Mahjong queens have vouched it is the real deal!

Now, the official card will have parentheses explaining your options BUT it is still exciting to take a peek and see some of the fun new options coming our way!

You absolutely must have gummy bears! All my students receive that perfect treat, my beginner learning card and Mahj 101 guide + three weeks on I Love Mahj and some printables.
