URGENT MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER, MATTHEW HEARN:

Good afternoon, debt relief leaders! We have major news, huge developments and big changes coming to this industry. This information/intel needs to get circulated and I need a hand getting our reach increased to every player in this space.

Yes, this one:
OCCAM Leadership Forum

This will be where we deploy the developments and information needed.

That said, PLEASE share this group to as many credit repair and debt relief firms and operators as you can. We will be conducting several live-stream events this month to address the latest developments in the space. Here are a few things you may not know:
The NACSO suit was DOA and we talked about that in great detail. We were right about that. The TSR is in play and has been since 2010.

NAF (no advance fee) Settlement companies are getting engaged by regulators over UDAAP.
Attorneys have been disbarred and some have done jailtime for operating in this space.
Marketers and lead generators, along with CRM providers and banks are being engaged to deal with consumer abuse and rule-breaking.
Thousands of people and companies have been banned from debt relief of any kind. Forever. (https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/cases-proceedings/banned-mortgage-relief-debt-relief-companies-people)

The challenges to the TSR that were brought by Commonwealth (Key Credit Repair) were shot down hard. Again, we called that. (https://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/massachusetts/madce/1:2020cv10991/221746/47)

I spoke with the team of regulators at the CFPB this week at length, and can tell you with CERTAINTY: We need to ACT. And yes, we have the plan and a way forward for you all. And yes, they like it.

As we move forward into our "gated community" self-regulation ecosystem, (www.occamalliance.org, we want every voice heard. We also want to provide you with the most accurate, up-to-date information not swayed by an agenda. Just the FACTS and a plan to thrive through the coming changes.

You will need a migration plan, and yes, we have a solution. We can only get our messages out there so far and we need to get the industry players into this group and paying attention. There will be no do-overs. It is our time to rally and make this industry what it was meant to be.

OCCAM will be hosting a Total Compliance training and certification class at the end of this month. It is free to OCCAM members. We will cover every single aspect of your business and show you how to comply with every rule in the industry. From marketing and advertising laws, UDAAP, CPA Sec 5, State laws, bonding and licensing requirements, compliance management systems and everything you need to know to be in compliance with the rules. You may be surprised at just how simple the answer is.

If I told you that your business would become more profitable by coming into compliance, wouldn't you want to explore that? Agreed.

If you would like to know how you can gain access to the class or become a member, contact us at [email protected]
