REMEMBER - PRICE INCREASE GOES IN EFFECT AUG 1 - tomorrow is the last day to purchase lots at the present pricing. Current price is $500 each. New price will be $750 each, which is still below average price in the Tri -Cities.

We would like to sincerely thank all family members, friends and others that attended the first annual meeting of Sunrise Memorial Cemetery. With approximately 150 people attending we were able to get a lot of records and contact information that the board of directors need in order to better organize things and communicate with everyone.
Remember, please spread the word and continue to let everyone know about the efforts and work that is being done to ensure that the Sunrise Memorial Cemetery is well-maintained and taken care of for all of our families that have loved ones or friends that are buried there.
Please be advised that the current cost of a burial lot is $500 each through August 1, after that time the cost of a burial lot will increase to $750.
Also, anyone that would like to join the Sunrise Memorial Cemetery association as a member to support the ongoing efforts can also contact us at the below listed numbers or email, a one time $50 membership contribution is the only cost.

Community Members, PLEASE share and like this page, this community project needs your support. We will be having a membership drive program to help get everyone involved. The board of directors of Sunrise Cemetary needs your support, ideas and involvement. We are seeking additional board members to help with the administration of the Sunrise Cemetary as well, if interested in serving please contact Bret Lyon at 423-383-3197 or Jim Miller at ‭(423) 384-1776‬
Also, mowing season has began, please visit the graves of your loved ones and friends and make sure any flowers or other items are in good order and please remove any unwanted items that you no longer want to be there so we can keep things looking nice for everyone. We need to try to keep the middle of the rows as clean as possible to make things easier to mow.
Thanks again for everyone’s cooperation, help and support, we hope to make improvements so that Sunrise Cemetary will be a pleasant and comfortable place for everyone that visits. Be sure to plan to attend the board meeting on May 15th, we welcome anyone that would like to attend.

ATTENTION: FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
We would like to invite anyone with family members or friends buried in Sunrise Cemetery to attend the first annual organizational information meeting to be held at the Lyon Metal Roofing retail location, 5600 Highway 11E, Piney Flats, TN on May 15th., 2018.
Food and refreshments will be served starting at 6:00 PM with a formal board meeting starting at 7:00 PM. Please plan to attend and enjoy food and fellowship with other members of the community as we move forward with our mutual care taking efforts for this sacred and beautiful cemetary where our beloved family members and friends are remembered and memorialized.
The Sunrise Cemetary has been reorganized as a 501(c)(13)
cemetery company operated exclusively for the benefit of its members and not operated for profit.
This is a community based effort and the primary goal is to insure that the Sunrise Cemetary continues to be well maintained and improved as needed moving forward.
