🎾 THE GLOBAL YOUTH TENNIS SYSTEM HAS RUINED MANY FAMILIES 🎾
In my opinion, major companies, sponsors, and stakeholders should do far more to support talented young players.
In my own case, I have invested more than €900,000, along with years of travel, coaching, tournaments, training, and personal sacrifice, to help my daughters pursue their tennis dreams.
Now, as they stand on the verge of their first professional matches, I am still being asked to invest more and more money. The financial burden on families has become overwhelming.
Tennis is a wonderful sport that teaches discipline, commitment, and resilience. However, when the costs become excessive and opportunities depend primarily on continuous financial investment, the system risks becoming unsustainable for many families.
Young athletes should be judged on talent, work ethic, and results—not only on how much money their families can continue to spend.
It is time for sponsors, corporations, federations, and tennis organizations to create more opportunities and financial support for deserving players.

TALENT SHOULD DECIDE. NOT WALLET SIZE.
