The power of a haircut! Haircuts can actually have quite a significant effect on our appearance, confidence, and overall well-being. Here are a few ways a haircut can have a positive impact:

1. Boost in confidence: A great haircut has the power to make us feel more confident and attractive. When we feel good about our appearance, it can positively affect our self-esteem and how we interact with others.

2. Expressing individuality: Haircuts allow us to express our unique style and personality. Whether it's a bold new look or a subtle change, a haircut can reflect who we are and how we want to present ourselves to the world.

3. Fresh start: Sometimes a haircut can symbolize a fresh start or a new chapter in our lives. It can help us leave behind old patterns and embrace a new outlook.

4. Improved hair health: Regular haircuts can help maintain healthier hair. Trimming split ends and removing damaged hair promotes growth and keeps our locks looking vibrant and shiny.

5. Relaxation and self-care: Going to a salon or barbershop for a haircut can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It's a chance to take some time for yourself, unwind, and let someone else take care of you.

Don’t forget to take the time and pamper yourself by scheduling an appointment!

In a few days I’ll be making cornbread to use in my Thanksgiving stuffing… but I most definitely won’t be buying GMO Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix with the preservative BHT.

This is the same preservative that Kellogg’s uses in many of their cereals that is linked to cancer. It’s an unnecessary ingredient because Kellogg’s doesn’t use it in their cereals in other countries.

So, why do food companies use it here in America? Because it’s cheap and allows them to mass produce food that lasts for months on the shelves. It puts their customers at risk for cancer… but they don’t care. I refuse to buy products from companies like this who are poisoning us for profit.

Click the link to get my vegan & organic cornbread recipe that I use to make amazing Cornbread Stuffing on the big day next week: https://foodbabe.com/stuff-your-self-with-stuffing-part-1-a-vegan-thanksgiving/

Know anyone buying GMO Jiffy products with BHT? Please share the truth with them.

You’ve heard it’s good to buy meat that’s naturally raised without hormones, right?

Bad news is that on the majority of meat that you’ll find these labels on...it means virtually nothing at all.

Hormones and steroids have been banned from poultry production since the 50’s.

That means that ALL turkey and chicken raised in America is raised without hormones. This goes for pork too.

Companies can call their meat ā€œAll Naturalā€ if it has no artificial ingredients and is minimally processed. It can be raised in the same horrible factory farm conditions that conventional meat is – with antibiotics, GMO feed, windowless sheds, etc.

So, why do food companies use these labels then? To mislead you. To make you believe that their meat is superior and healthier than other brands.

Our government allows food companies to put this on their packaging, even though it is misleading. This is wrong!

That’s why I prefer to obtain meat directly from local farms or sources I trust where they are transparent about their practices. Knowing the source of my meat gives me peace of mind that the animals truly had a ā€œfree-rangeā€ life and weren’t kept in a shed and pumped with antibiotics in some Big Ag operation.

Most people don’t know the truth about these labels. Please share this post to spread the word.
