Brad Brooks started Argali because people kept asking about the gear in his backcountry films. Steve Speck started an archery shop in his garage during the 2008 recession, then co-founded Exo Mtn Gear, which still builds every pack in the USA.

On October 29 they're both on stage at the Idaho State Museum for Flint & Steel: The Long Hunt, talking about what it actually took to build their companies. Founder panel, happy hour, and gear giveaways from both brands.
