Twelve years ago, Jensen Belts Associates was honored to be selected as the winner of the design competition for the Idaho World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial, located at 1791 W. Shoreline Dr. just off the Boise Greenbelt. The memorial sculpture was created by Amber Conger that incorporates a 10-foot beam from the World Trade Center. Construction was completed in 2014. Boise City completed some renovations of the memorial this year to mark the 25th anniversary to help us all never forget.

It is with memory filled sadness that we announce the passing of one of our founding members and friend Eric Jensen. For over 40 years he provided the firm and his community with leadership, mentorship, creativity (with "nuts and bolts" practicality), and a profound focus on getting the job done and done well. Eric retired from the firm in 2011. In retirement he and wife, Brenda Breidinger traveled and split time between Boise and Southeast Asia (Thailand). Eric was very proud of the current partners and associates' for their continued commitment to excellence. He will be missed.

CCDC's Rebuild 11th Street project was awarded 1st Place in the Transportation Category at the ACEC of Idaho 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards. This recognition is a testament to the role public private partnerships play in bringing the community's vision to life.

Thank you to our design and construction partners Kittelson & Associates, Inc., Jensen Belts Associates, and McAlvain Companies, Inc. Together, we brought long-envisioned bicycle and pedestrian improvements to 11th Street, providing a safer and more connected route for all ages and all abilities.

Jensen Belts Associates got the honor and privilege to work with Matthew Mazzotta when he was selected to become part of our design team for the Cherie Buckner-Webb Park. He created the amazing, iconic Gentle Breeze Pink Tree for the park.
