Instagram. Huge time suck or invaluable networking tool?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It depends on how you’re using it . . . Or how it’s using you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been creating and building Instagram accounts for myself and others for 5 years. I’ve seen horrible bot comments, tacky automated DMs, and follow/unfollows from thousands.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve also made IRL (in real life) friendships that started on IG. Made thousands of dollars from multiple account as well as reaching international recognition for my photography on . (Yeah, that surprised me too 🤣)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My point is this: Instagram is a platform that you can leverage to grow your network, your opportunities, and your customer base.

What’s your side hustle?

Years ago, I managed friends’ Instagram accounts and learned the ins and outs of growing an account with not only followers who were real, but were actually interested in what they had to offer.

Interestingly enough, Instagram turned into photography which led to full-time copywriting and content strategy for online businesses . . . and now? Photography is my side hustle. M

You know what you need for that - a certain playlist, a favorite beverage, an inspiring view, a comfy chair (or maybe just sitting in the grass). Get yourself into that space of flow and create, without focusing on the outcome.

Lists of imaginary workshops with a ridiculous amount of alliteration. It gets the ideas going. 🤷‍♀️🤣
