Question for the group:

When you are being targeted by really good marketing (videos/Ads/ marketplace Ads etc), What is your Initial thoughts about said company?

1) company must be doing really well because I’m seeing their ads everywhere. This company has my attention!?

Or

2) product is potentially over priced because company has a lot of resources for marketing. Margins must be really high

Seems like there are two main routes a company must choose.

1) go as cheap as you can (95% of the time over seas manufacturing ) so that you can have a robust marketing machine with your higher than normal margins.

Use Marketing to convince someone that your product is the best. Tend to see a lot of these used at any given time via FB and Craigslist . Almost never repeat business

2) invest everything into the product and expect that your clients will tell everyone about the product . These products tend to be rare in the secondary market . Clients for life .

The Steelhead will always be close
To my heart! The boat that changed everything for me in the raft world. Two back strokes on a 14’6 boat that felt like a drift boat was enough to pursue buying the company. 9 years later we’re on our third season. Always will be #π‘΄π’‚π’…π’†π’Šπ’π‘Όπ‘Ίπ‘¨
