After a brief investigation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident and has officially been evicted from the premises.

Another happy customer and another property protected! Sometimes these guys put up a good fight, but persistence, patience, and plenty of trap checks pay off.

It’s been a little quiet on our page, but that’s because we’ve been staying busy helping our community!

Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to over the past week:

🛻 We bought our first business truck! The wife wasn’t happy with wildlife tearing into her brand new Ford Explorer and well… as much as we love the Mustang GT… it’s not fit for the fields. We bought a used Silverado and will be wrapping it soon so you all can see us while we are out and about!

🦝 We helped a homeowner after raccoons tore through their soffit and gained access to their attic. After trapping what we could, we installed wire paneling to help prevent future entry. We were also able to safely remove another raccoon that had become stuck while climbing the property’s rock wall (special thanks to the homeowner for lending a hand!).

🦦 We assisted a local farmer whose beautiful stocked pond was being hit hard by river otters. After discussing the situation and the damage being done to the fish population, we helped resolve the problem so he and his grandkids can get back to enjoying time together on the pond and hopefully catching some stories to tell on for generations! 🐟

🐇 One of our favorite parts of what we do isn’t always removing wildlife, it’s helping it out whenever possible. We’re currently rehabilitating 7 orphaned cottontail rabbits, and today marks Day 3. They’re doing great on Fox Valley Day One Formula and are beginning the transition to fresh greens. Watching them grow stronger every day has been incredibly rewarding.

This is why we started S.S. Outdoors. Every job is different, whether it’s protecting a home, helping a farmer make more family fishing memories and preserving years of work, or giving orphaned wildlife a second chance.

This week looked a little different for S.S. Outdoors. While I was out of state, my wife stepped up and kept everything running. She handled multiple wildlife removal calls, helped several customers, and did an incredible job representing our business.

This little guy received his official eviction notice this morning.

He had moved in where he wasn’t supposed to be and apparently had no plans of paying rent, so we stepped in and handled the situation.

Another nuisance safely removed and another property with one less squatter.

It’s been a busy week here at Silent Syndicate Outdoors!

This week we’ve successfully removed 3 skunks and 2 groundhogs, with 8 traps currently set around the Bolivar area. Some animals are caught quickly, while others definitely test our patience—but we’re committed to consistent trap checks, fresh bait, and doing the job the right way until the problem is solved.

We also had the opportunity to meet with Bolivar Animal Control and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office today to introduce ourselves, explain the services we provide, and leave our contact information. We appreciate the chance to build relationships with our local community and agencies.

🦫 Another happy customer, another property protected.

Today we had the opportunity to help a homeowner dealing with a groundhog that had taken up residence on their property and was beginning to cause damage.

After assessing the area, we safely captured the groundhog using humane trapping methods and relocated it in accordance with Missouri regulations. Every situation is different, but our goal is always the same—to solve the problem responsibly while treating wildlife with respect.

At S.S. Outdoors, we believe wildlife management is about more than just removing an animal. It’s about protecting your property, preventing future issues, and giving homeowners peace of mind.
