TwoBit Aerial recently completed a new customizable field map for The ROCK Ai***ft, Missouri.

The map brings together current aerial imagery, 1 m and 5 m contour references, field zones, roads and trails, water features, points of interest, and selectable reference grids across approximately 77.94 mapped acres.

Visitors can explore the field, choose which layers to display, and download a high-resolution PNG for screen or print.

Finished drone mapping example from Fullerton Ball Fields in Bolivar, MO.

This started as overlapping drone imagery and was processed into one clean orthomosaic map, then turned into a planning-style deliverable with field measurements, parking estimates, walking trail distance, building footprints, and site context.

For parks, athletic fields, schools, construction sites, commercial properties, and larger outdoor facilities, this type of aerial documentation can help answer practical planning questions:

- What does the full site look like from above?
- Where are the fields, roads, buildings, and parking areas?
- How much parking may fit in a defined area?
- What distances or site features need to be documented?
- What areas may need follow-up planning or field verification?

This example includes:

Here’s a recent aerial look at Fullerton Fields in Bolivar, MO.

A single drone photo is useful for context, but the real value comes when many overlapping images are processed into an orthomosaic map — one clean, top-down, map-style view of the whole site.

For parks, athletic fields, construction sites, commercial properties, and larger outdoor facilities, this can help document:

- field layout
- buildings and structures
- access roads and parking
- site conditions
- drainage areas
- surrounding property context

Ha Ha Tonka always looks good from the air. The lake, the hills, and the castle ruins all come together in one view.

Boundary overlay example from Bolivar, MO.

Public GIS mapping initially suggested the parcel extended beyond the fence line.
After further record review, the deed description appears to align with the fence line at about 594 ft.

Takeaway: GIS parcel overlays are useful reference tools, but they are not a substitute for a licensed survey or formal deed review.

Note: Original deliverables are much higher resolution than Facebook allows.
