This well taken care of, 2013 Chevy Malibu with 300,000 miles on it was starting to stutter a bit, and the engine was becoming questionable! I ran my diagnostics OBD two scanner, and discovered that there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. I started by swapping that ignition coil with the one on the opposite side. The misfire then moved to the other side, so I knew that it was a bad coil.
I went online, and was able to have an entire new set of ignition coils in two days later. I went ahead and just replaced all of them, so that there’s no more issues down the line as they were all looking pretty rough.
The car is running absolutely amazing now and is no longer stuttering at all even on the steep Hills.
