October is National Physical Therapy Month!

During National Physical Therapy Month the American Physical Therapy Association encourages you to learn about the many benefits of physical activity.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, 2nd edition, more than 80% of adults and adolescents do not get enough physical activity.

Physical therapists and physical therapist assistants play a critical role in helping Americans of all ages and abilities achieve their physical activity goals, and improve their quality of life.
