L&G Planning

L&G Planning Latini and Glietz is a urban planning and redevelopment consultancy specializing in municipal land use, zoning and public policy decision making.

Assisting the leaders of our community is vital to ensuring that decisions being made or well-informed. Whether a community is looking to grow its tax base, jobs, or revitalize and strengthen its neighborhoods, planning is key. Firm founder Chuck Latini began CWL Planning in 2009 and has since partnered with planning professional Paul Gleitz to form LG Planning. At LG, we believe that effective pl

anning and public policy begins with a community first approach. When a community comes together, better plans are developed because issues can be discussed and education regrading market-based realities can be brought to the floor thereby making implementation possible. Not everyone will participate, but the opportunity to do so is an important part of community building and revitalization. LGH utilizes creative techniques to ensure the entire community is engaged. Healthy, effective communication and input from all factions of the community, young and old, all races, and creeds, is a great way to build a constituency through planning and community development.

The City of Bordentown is in the early stages of reexamining / updating its Master Plan. A Master Plan is the document approved by the Planning Board that depicts current land uses and guides decisions for both growth and conservation for our community.

The Planning Board intends to undergo a process with strong community engagement to refresh the goals of the Master Plan and recommend actions to meet them moving forward. Before the Planning Board officially proposes a Draft Master Plan Update and requests public comment prior to formal action, a communications and outreach strategy will be implemented. One tool that has been selected to receive wide input is a community survey, which you are invited to complete online.

The survey will be open until the end of April, at least. It should take +/_ 10 minutes of your time to complete. The results will be tabulated and used as one piece of information that will inform the development of an updated Master Plan. Additional opportunities for input will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions about the survey or this process in general please contact Bordentown City Planner Chuck Latini via email at: [email protected]
