Chlorthalidone is used to treat high blood pressure, a common health condition that affects the body's arteries, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Failed dissolution specifications may affect the efficacy of the medication.
The recall impacts 100 tablet and 1,000 tablet bottles of the medication with the batch numbers RISA24001 and RISB24002, respectively. The recalled medication has an expiration date of April 2027.
