Celebrating the re-launch of ResponseMBA and the Radical Healthcare Leadership program! Someone asked a question about whether this is about dismantling the privatized medical industry. I thought this was a great question that many people will be curious about, so I'm posting my response here:
Most people who want systemic change want to see privatized healthcare dismantled, so all people can have access to the care they need. But the journey to get there can be complicated and frustrating, because in the USA, most of the money and resources are being put toward profit-driven change and transformation in the private sector. Our programs focus on equipping people with skills to navigate the industry/business side of healthcare, so they can explore opportunities that work in the overlap of private and public funding sources, and gain positions that can help them move resources to more equitable efforts.
Each person's work is unique and specific to their skills and desires, so the key is determining which path will bring the quickest results while still being in line with our personal morals and ethics (and, if that's your career, making sure you can earn the income you need to thrive and sustain your work without having to "sell out").
Feel free to reach out and/or sign up for the training if you still have questions and want to learn more!
