The Fairmount Innovation Lab is a unique, cross-sector lab, incubator, and accelerator for elevating, launching and growing creative enterprises along the Fairmount Corridor Rail Line. The Innovation Lab includes three strategies:

Space584, a physical place for projects, curated events, community meetings and sharing of ideas across sectors. Incubator584, an access point to business services, wo

rkshops, advising, network building, meeting space, and funding preparing creative entrepreneurs and artists along the Fairmount Corridor to advance their ventures and careers. Fairmount

LaunchPad, a competition and accelerator for creative industry start-up ventures by entrepreneurs along the Fairmount Corridor. Selected participants will gain access to a community of highly motivated entrepreneurs, a collaborative work space, education, advice, new contacts and funding. The accelerator will bring together mentors and experts in business model development, marketing, finance, legal issues, technology, sales and design. The Fairmount Innovation Lab was established by Artmorpheus in partnership with Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative, the Design Studio for Social Intervention, the City of Boston/Main Streets, Fairmount Corridor residents and artists. The Lab is part of the larger Fairmount Cultural Corridor (FCC) Placemaking initiative, which draws upon the local cultural assets and ethnic traditions along the Fairmount Commuter Line to support vibrant, livable neighborhoods and an active, sustainable local creative economy.
