Carnival 2022 Update:

Dear Saucy Ones:

Just want to update you all on what is happening with this years Jouvert. There is an active protest of CACAB being planned for Carnival Day which will affect both Jouvert and Carnival. At this time we have made the executive decision to not participate in Boston Carnival Jouvert. In solidarity, we will be joining the protest. The Carnival Association of Boston has made a mockery of what should be one of the greatest displays of Caribbean culture and pride and we want to take a stand against the lack of respect and support they have shown to Jouvert and Carnival bands.

So for now, we will freeze registration. We are seeking an alternate plan for a Jouvert celebration and will keep you updated with those plans. For those of you that have already registered, we can either hold your spot until we know for sure about the alternate plan or we can refund your registration fee.

We will also be sending out information regarding the protest plans in the event that you would like to support that effort. Please feel free to contact either of us with your questions or concerns.
