There is something deeply hopeful about restoration.

In a world built for speed and disposal, the artisans at The Harcourt Bindery are still practicing the centuries-old craft of hand bookbinding… patiently repairing broken spines, sewing pages back together, preserving stories that still deserve to be held generations from now.

We were honored to see The Harcourt Bindery featured in the recent CBS New England Living special, highlighting the beauty and importance of this rare craft. What many see as an old damaged book, our binders see as something worth saving.
