We often believe our failures define who we are. I couldn’t disagree more.
It took me years to actually leave my full-time job so I could pursue my business full time. I had been slowly building my business on the side during that time. For some reason, the itch to be my own boss would not go away, no matter how hard I tried.
I said things to myself, like:
🔸 I have it so good compared to others. I should appreciate what I have.
🔸 Why would I give up a great job to potentially fall flat on my face?
🔸 What if things don’t turn out the way I want them to? I shouldn’t even bother trying.
🔸 Who do I think I am? There are so many amazing bakeries out there already. I can’t compete with them.
Sound familiar?

⭐ PRO TIP
Failing can actually be a good thing. When you fail, you want to fail fast.
⁉️ ”THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE”
Sounds crazy, right? Well, after your first few fails, you’ll quickly learn:
🔸what works well
🔸what should be changed
🔸what to avoid next time
THIS is what’s most important, NOT the thought of failing. Why? Because when you’re 100% ready to pursue your own business (or do something new), you now have the expectation and confidence to do exactly what you need to succeed.
I know it’s scary, but more importantly, if we don’t step into our fear of failure, we risk not making the small and necessary changes to reach our dreams and goals.
