I keep coming back to one question when I’m building things for my team:

Because people are BUSY. They have jobs, kids, sports, appointments, families, responsibilities… and then they’re trying to build a business somewhere in between all of that.

Will building a business still require work? Of course.

“Okay… I actually CAN fit this into my life.”

I found these old screenshots and sticky notes from when I was first climbing the ranks in network marketing, and they brought me RIGHT back. 🥹

There were two pieces of advice I got early on that have stuck with me for years.

The first:

On your hardest days, can you still do ONE thing for your business?

Make one connection.
Share the products or business with one person.
Follow up with someone.
Post something.

Just one.

Because one connection a day might not feel like much in the moment… but that’s 365 connections in a year.

The second was to keep the bigger vision in front of me.

It didn’t need to be some deep “why that makes you cry.” 😂 It was simply: What am I trying to accomplish? And do I want it enough to keep moving toward it?

At the time these screenshots were taken, my goal was Area Manager with Arbonne.

And I was OBSESSED with keeping that goal in front of me.

Sticky notes everywhere. 😂
Numbers written down.
Volume tracked.
What I needed.
What was left.
How I was going to finish.

I would write the goal over and over again because I wanted my brain focused on where I was going.

And looking back, I think those two things mattered more than I realized:

Keep the big vision big… but make the daily action small enough that you can still do it on the hard days.

You don’t have to move mountains every single day.

You just have to keep moving.

One conversation. One follow-up. One post. One connection.

Those little actions can look almost insignificant while you’re doing them.

Until one day you look back and realize they built the whole thing. ❤️

This. ❤️ Hiking with my family… while content I already created is still out there working for me.

And THAT is one of my favorite parts of learning how to build a network marketing business through attraction marketing.

I’ve been with Arbonne in the health + wellness space for 10 years, and I didn’t always build this way.

For years, I built very traditionally. Lots of reaching out. Lots of conversations. Lots of actively looking for the next person.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

But learning how to create content that makes people stop, get curious, ask questions, follow along and eventually come to ME completely changed the way I looked at this business.

I don’t love the phrase “time freedom” because I think it can give people the wrong idea.

You still have to WORK. 😂

There is no magical business where you do nothing and money just appears.

But there IS a difference between constantly trading an hour for an hour… and spending time building something that can continue working after you put your phone down.

A reel can keep getting views.
A post can reach someone days later.
Someone can binge your content while you’re hiking with your family.
And a person you’ve never met can eventually message YOU because something you shared made them curious.

That’s leverage. 👏

And it doesn’t happen overnight. It took me time to learn how to create content strategically instead of just throwing things at the wall.

But once you learn it? You can build a LOT in 15–20 focused minutes a day.

I believe network marketing has to keep evolving.

That doesn’t mean the “old school” way of building was bad. I built that way and learned a TON from it.

But people are BUSY.

😂 Apparently we need to investigate Sephora, Target, Amazon, Costco… because I’ve spent a LOT of money with them and they’ve never paid me a dime.

Here’s the part people love to leave out when talking about network marketing:

Customers are supposed to spend money. They’re customers. 😂

Not everyone who buys Arbonne is trying to build a business. Some people just want the protein, skincare, fizz, supplements, whatever they love… the same way I buy things from Amazon without expecting Jeff Bezos to send me a commission check.

The difference?

With Arbonne, if you do decide you want to build a business, there’s an opportunity to earn income by sharing products you already use and building a customer base.

Customer ≠ failed business owner.

Sometimes a customer is just… a customer. Wild concept. 😂

And if you do want to turn the products you already love into an income stream, that’s a different conversation. 👀

Discipline wins everytime.

My best advice is to sit by yourself and really think and write down what you want your life to look like. Then take small daily actions to make that happen no matter what…. With absolutely no excuses.

For years, I built my network marketing business the “old-school” way.

Living rooms. In-person events. Scripted messages. Lots and LOTS of conversations.

And it worked.

I reached the top 2% of my company, earned the car, earned the trips, and watched teammates promote.

But eventually, we hit a wall.

We were making money… and we were EXHAUSTED.

That’s when I realized something had to change.

I didn’t need to abandon everything network marketing had taught me.

I needed to learn how to build it **online.**

So I learned attraction marketing. Hooks. Copywriting. Content strategy. How to create conversations instead of constantly chasing them.

And now?

I’m averaging **150–200+ new followers a month** across Facebook and Instagram and **5+ new sponsors a month**, sometimes more.

Almost all of my business is built online.
