This will be the final post for SLASH SPORTS. After extensive negotiations, the Partners of SLASH SPORTS have decided to sell our entire operation to a major sports betting operator. Sunday ended our racing week and we ended on a high note going 3 for 3. At SARATOGA we rode the Irad Ortiz double with BREAKFASTATBONNIES hustling from the gate, showed the way, got pressured late and hung on to win by a nose. MISTY VEIL was the next selection going right to the lead, opened up a clear advantage and extended to win by 8. At MONMOUTH it was MOHR setting the early pace, shaking free on the turn, responded when roused and pulled away to win by 10.

Saturday was HASKELL STAKES DAY at MONMOUTH but before we headed there there was a BEST BET at SARATOGA. In the SANFORD STAKES it was WIT an impressive winner. At MONMOUTH our clients received the entire 14 race card and were successful with 11 winners. Our 1st BEST BET was THE CRITICAL WAY a heavily bet winner. DR POST was our longshot winner in the MONMOUTH CUP and TRIBHUVAN was a wire to wire winner in the UNITED NATIONS. We released HOT ROD CHARLIE as a BEST BET in the HASKELL STAKES. He won a photo but was disqualified for clipping heels and having a horse go down. Ending the day at DEL MAR where we released ROYAL SHIP in the SAN DIEGO STAKES, who ran 3rd.

Friday was the opening of WEST COAST summer racing as DEL MAR began their meet. As always, we hesitate releasing selections on Day 1. However, GOING TO VEGAS was a BEST BET for us there and was a winner. We also released the entire cards at SARATOGA and MONMOUTH. At SARATOGA we had a phenomenal day connecting on all 10 races. There were multiple PICK 3, PICK 4, PICK 5 and a PICK 6 paying $4061. Our BEST BET of QUICK RETURN was a winner. MONMOUTH will highlight Saturday's racing as they feature THE HASKELL and multiple stakes. As we prepare for those races we released their 6 race card, connecting on 5 races ending the day with our BEST BET of FREE TO FLY a winner.

Thursday was the opening of SARATOGA, summer racing on the East Coast. We usually wait before jumping in but GOLDEN PAL was running in a later race and was an easy winner for our clients. We also released 2 selections at ARLINGTON, with both horses catching small fields. PITAMAN was a leader from the start and won by 2. LASTEN IMPRESSION took over midway and blew away the short field to win by 12. We'll jump into the full card at SARATOGA on Friday, review the opening of DEL MAR and prepare for MONMOUTH'S stakes races on Saturday.

Our racing week begins as we prepare for the openings of SARATOGA and DEL MAR. Wednesday started out at FINGER LAKES as BANYAN BREEZE contested the lead inside, was asked and kicked clear to win by 2. Also at FINGER LAKES where PARTY AT PAGE'S vied for the lead into the turn, responded inside and turned back a challenge to win by 1. Competing our day at PARX was WHY WHY PAUL WHY who hung back behind the dueling leaders, took over midway on the turn and pulled away to win by 7.

Sunday ended our racing week and closed the BELMONT meet as preparations are made for the opening of SARATOGA. Our clients received the full 9 race card at BELMONT and were successful with 8 winners. The highlights were our BEST BET win with PRETTY CLEAR, our LONGSHOT play win with CALL ME LOVE. As the lights were turned off we had connected on a $61 PICK 3, $149 PICK 4, $902 PICK 5 and $3381 PICK 6. Our clients were also treated to a BEST BET at MONMOUTH as CHASING ARTIE was a winner. our last selection was at GULFSTREAM but FROBIDDEN DREAM ran 3rd.

Saturday's action was focused at BELMONT with their day of major stakes races. We released the entire 11 race card, connecting with 7 winners which included our BEST BET of SANTA BARBARA. We also released 5 other plays starting at ELLIS PARK hitting with TUMBLING SKY and CANADIAN CAPER. At LONE STAR our selection of SUNLIT SONG ran 3rd and our 2 plays at PRAIRIE MEADOWS, SAY IT NICELY and HUNKA BURNING LOVE both ran 4th.

Friday was a challenging day as weather played havoc with our selections. At BELMONT our release of LOVE AND THUNDER was a scratch. At GULFSTREAM we released ALONZO who was a winner but our underneath plays scratched. At ARLINGTON our release of PH FACTOR ran 3rd. We also released a PICK 3 selection at ELLIS PARK, 2 PICK 3 selections at PRAIRIE MEADOWS and a PICK 4 at LONE STAR. Each wager was hampered by weather as we connected on 2 out of 3 legs on the PICK 3's and 3 out of 4 legs on the PICK 4.

The weather made our track selections a challenge on Thursday. We began at ARLINGTION with NIGHT THINGS tracking the early pace, taking over in the stretch and won by 7. The top trainer/jockey combo at ARLINGTON of Rivelli and Loveberry controlled all the pace with odds on BACKSIDE BEAUTY who won easily by 4. Heading North to WOODBINE with BACHELOR PAD who hit the gate, battled to get the lead, but gave out late to run 3rd.

We begin our racing week at FINGER LAKES with QUALITY STONES away well, set the pace, kicked clear to win by 2. On to DELAWARE PARK with BEST CAUSE stalking the early pace, made a bid four wide, drew clear to win by 6. Our final selection of PAPA JIMMY was a scratch.
