Happy Sunday! It's another SoWa Sunday here in Boston and our artist studios at 450 Harrison are open today from 11 am-5 pm. There is LOTS to see and experience in our creative building! There's also the groovy SoWa Vintage Market in our lower level, and just outside our doors is the open market with food trucks, farmers' market, and artisans. If you're in or near Boston, we look forward to seeing you!

It's FIRST FRIDAY in SoWa Boston. Nearly 100 artists have their studios open to the public tonight 5-9 pm at 450 Harrison Avenue! Here's a peek at mine today. Come on by!

Here's my newest mixed media bird in the trees painting. This one is 10" x 10" on a 1.5" deep cradled wood panel. I'll probably give this a walnut frame like my other bird paintings but I continued the image around all the sides just in case I change my mind!

Happy Sunday. It's SoWa Sunday here in Boston, and what a clear and beautiful day it is! Current temp is 78 degrees with a forecasted 87 degrees coming our way today. How great to slip into sandals this morning! Our many artist studios at 450 Harrison Ave are open today 11-5. There's also the fun vintage market in our lower level, and just outside our doors are farmers' market, food trucks, and vendors!

This piece is South End Samba, a limited edition print in my studio.

Happy Mother's Day to all who love, nurture, support, and encourage the kids and the animals in our lives!

It's another SoWa Sunday here in Boston. Come explore all the open art studios here at 450 Harrison Avenue, and bring Mom! And don't forget to visit the vintage market AKA SoWa Vintage Market in our lower level. We're here til 5 pm.

This artwork is "Someone to Watch Over Me." I find it funny how many people come into my studio, look at this piece and say, "That's me."

This weekend is FIRST FRIDAY and the spring ARTWALK in SoWa Boston. My studio will be open Friday 5-9 pm, and 11 am-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. It's also the kickoff weekend of the SoWa Open Market (Sunday) that happens right outside our studio building May through October. Thanks to SoWa Artist Heather Buechler for being the face of this video!

Thanks to the SOWA Artists Guild for sharing this. I remember that this piece took me down a lot of rabbit holes! For one thing, it had over a hundred layers. Each person, each dog, each car, and each streetlight were on their own individual layers so that I could move them around and see where I wanted them to be in relation to one another.

“Sunday in New York” by Paula Ogier is a limited-edition digital drawing, printed on canvas and on paper. The soft color palette is meant to express the artist’s memories of the relative hush of a Sunday morning in NYC compared to the rest of the week.
