FABLabs For America is public education service agency, incorporated in Massachusets May, 2012 as The Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Project, a non-profit organization and under the fiscal sponsorship of the FAB Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization under the United States tax code. FABLabs For America partners closely with the FABAmerica Group a private consulti

ng company, MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms (www. cba.mit.edu), the Fab Foundation (www.fabfoundation.org) and their national (www.usfln.org) and international (www.fablabinternational.org) network affiliates under the FABLab Charter (usfln.org/about/fab-charter/) to create a greater awareness of FABLabs; demonstrate the benefits of the FABLabs through workshops, symposia and quality programming and to build capacity for the further development, expansion and continued support of FabLabs and FabLab communities.
