Is your fire sprinkler system in compliance with Inspection Requirements?
An Annual Inspection of the Sprinkler System is required as per NFPA #25, 780 CMR State Building Code 8th Edition and your local Fire Dept.
Does your sprinkler system contain antifreeze? NFPA 13 and NFPA 13R say Antifreeze solutions systems must be tested annually prior to the onset of freezing weather
Does your antifreeze system have the correct solution and concentration? Freezing can cause your sprinkler pipe to break and cause water damage to your property Freezing can result in impairment of your fire sprinkler system
Minor water damage will lead to corrosion
Corrosion and/or leaks can cause your sprinkler system to malfunction in an emergency

Several calls today for frozen sprinkler piping or heads. This is good for us but not good for the business that has to close until it's repaired. This is entirely preventable. Freezing can occur in minutes so check your property and make sure there is no access to cold air. Frozen pipe can impair your sprinkler system in the event of a fire.
