I had coffee with my younger self today… ☕️
She sat across from me, gripping a vanilla latte, unsure if she had what it took. She thought playing small was the safer choice. She didn’t yet realize that her uniqueness—not just talent—would be the thing that set her apart.
I took a sip of my iced cold brew, smiled, and told her:
“You’re going to pack up everything and move to a new city—more than once. You’ll start over again and again. And every time, you’ll prove to yourself that ‘no’ is never the final answer—it’s just a challenge to find another way.”
One day, she’d build a business that worked for her instead of being trapped inside it. She’d step into rooms she once dreamed of—not as an observer, but as the expert they call on. Not because she followed a perfect path, but because her story, her grit, and her ability to see things differently set her apart.
And one day, she’d have a daughter watching. A daughter who would grow up knowing that reinvention isn’t failure—it’s power.
Every risk, every leap, every ‘no’ she refused to accept… It wasn’t just for her. It was for Lowen, too.
If you could sit down with your younger self, what would you tell her? ⬇️
